I have always been interested in IoT and virtual assistants and dreamed about having mine. I recently discovered SiriControl and immediately saw the enormous potential of the project. Thank you very much Sanjeet Chatterjee for your beautiful work! This new version of SiriControl allow accents, so you can write some new modules in French for example :)
In this tutorial, you will learn to:
- Build your own personal assistant and running it on the cloud
- Build some packages to trigger your IoT devices (smart plugs…)

Setup
To achieve your goal you will need:
- Github account (To host code)
- New Gmail account (you will put your username and password in python script)
- Heroku account
If you want to control IoT devices, you will need:
- Smart devices (Smart plug or smart bubble for example)
- A Sequematic account (available here)
Build Siriassistant setup
First, let’s follow the Setup & iOS device parts from the original tutorial available here.
After this, you should have your notes correctly setup. We just have to add one thing: create a new label named “notes_old” like this:
